Michèle Meister

Painting sits at the centre of my practice as a vital form of human expression. My work is often figurative without being naturalistic, focusing on emotion, memory, mythology, and lived experience.

Having grown up between Switzerland and Germany and lived for many years in Greece, my practice is shaped by layered cultural experiences. Alongside painting, I work with sketchbooks, books, and textiles, moving fluidly between traditional and digital methods.
